About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established, community-focused insurance brokerage to recruit an Account Manager to support and service an existing book of business. This role is ideal for a client-focused insurance professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, managing policy details, and ensuring clients feel confident and supported.

This opportunity exists due to growth within the brokerage, driven by the transfer of established client books. It is a service-oriented role with some exposure to cross-selling and referrals, but the primary focus is delivering consistent, high-quality support to existing clients. Insurance in this environment is about trust, accuracy, and long-term partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to inquiries, requests, and coverage changes.
• Service an existing book of business, including endorsements, renewals, and new policy transactions.
• Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Process policy updates such as vehicle additions, address changes, property updates, and coverage adjustments.
• Support renewal cycles and ensure policies are issued accurately and on time.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities where appropriate, such as bundling home and auto coverage.
• Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, policy changes, and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately document client interactions and transactions within brokerage systems.
• Collaborate with producers, team leads, and internal colleagues to deliver a seamless client experience.

 

Qualifications & Experience

• Active RIBO Level 1 license strongly preferred.
• Candidates without a RIBO license may be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and the ability to obtain licensing.
• Prior insurance experience is preferred.

• Experience in personal lines, commercial lines, farm insurance, or a combination is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional, client-first approach.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using technology and office systems, including Microsoft Office and brokerage platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary typically ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, depending on experience and licensing.
