About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established insurance organization to recruit a Client Executive to support business development, client relationship management, and long-term account growth.
This role is well suited for a professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a relationship-driven approach to client engagement. The Client Executive will play a key role in managing and expanding a portfolio of commercial clients while identifying new business opportunities within the market.
Success in this role requires the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and position tailored insurance solutions that support both immediate and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring high levels of service and retention
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry partners
• Lead client conversations to understand risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, renewal strategies, and coverage recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams including account management, underwriting, and claims to deliver seamless client service
• Monitor market trends and maintain awareness of industry developments and competitive positioning
• Support renewal processes and contribute to cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the client portfolio
• Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and business development initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and pipeline activity
Qualifications & Experience
• 4–8+ years of experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, or client-facing roles
• Strong understanding of commercial lines products and insurance market dynamics
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships and generate new business opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• RIBO license required; CAIB, CIP, or equivalent designation is considered an asset
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary typically ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional variable compensation tied to performance.
