About the Role

We are partnering with a growing insurance brokerage in Mississauga to recruit a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support and service a portfolio of business clients. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing complex policy documentation, and delivering a high standard of service.

The Account Manager will play a key role in servicing an existing book of commercial clients, coordinating policy renewals, and ensuring coverage remains aligned with clients’ evolving business needs. The position works closely with producers and insurance carriers to support renewals, endorsements, and policy administration while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and long-term relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, acting as a primary point of contact for policy servicing needs.
• Prepare and process policy documentation including endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, and coverage updates.
• Coordinate renewal cycles by gathering underwriting information, reviewing policies, and preparing renewal documentation.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, and insurance documentation.
• Work closely with producers and insurance carriers to ensure policies are placed and serviced accurately.
• Maintain accurate client records and policy information within the brokerage management system.
• Review policy documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coverage requirements.
• Assist with invoicing, premium processing, and administrative transactions when required.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, insurers, and internal team members.
• Stay informed on market developments, insurance products, and regulatory updates relevant to commercial lines.

 

Qualifications & Experience

• Active RIBO license strongly preferred. Candidates willing to obtain licensing may also be considered.
• Previous experience in commercial insurance, brokerage operations, or insurance client service is an asset.
• Understanding of commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and renewal processes preferred.
• Experience working with broker management systems such as EPIC, Power Broker, or similar platforms is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary typically ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and licensing.
