About the Role

 

We are partnering with a well-established, community-focused insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Sales Producer. This is a true hunter role for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and growing a personal book of insurance clients.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who closes deals through trust and credibility rather than pressure. You will have the independence to manage your own pipeline, the flexibility to work remotely, and the support of an internal service team once business is placed. Insurance here is not treated as a transaction, but as long-term protection and partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new personal and commercial insurance business across Southwestern Ontario.

  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline through referrals, networking, community involvement, events, and proactive outreach.

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.

  • Prepare and present quotes, address objections, and confidently close new business.

  • Develop strong, long-term client relationships built on trust, integrity, and consistent follow-through.

  • Maintain organized records and manage your activity and pipeline independently.

  • Collaborate with internal account management teams to ensure smooth transition and ongoing service once business is placed.

  • Represent the brokerage professionally within the community and marketplace.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active RIBO Level 1 license (required).

  • Minimum two years of experience in insurance sales or a closely related sales role, with demonstrated new business generation.

  • Proven success in a hunter-style role with a track record of closing new business.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently in a flexible environment.

 

Compensation and Benefits

Draw against commission with strong earning potential for high performers.
Estimated draw range of approximately $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
